------ PDQ 11 ------ CleanDrives - An excellent workbench program, that spins your drives for thirty seconds. For use with a disk drive head cleaner. BootPic - Replace the Standard 1.3 kickstart picture, with your own IFF picture. Have fun - we did. GraffitiE - Art program ZShell - Small CLI shell, with some of the favourite features of CSH, whilst being a lot smaller. DT - Disk testing utility designed for floppies. The test are very deep, and very reliable. AntiBorder - A small assembly program that allows control over the CLI window. AnimBuild - Allows you to combine selected pictures into a standard OpCode 5 animation. Connex40 - Connect 4 with an optional twist, you play to loose. LZ - LZ version 1.92. The fastest LZH archiver. Colums - A variant of the Tetris theme, based on a game from X-Windows. WB2.0 Gazer - AmiGazer, a database of 1573 starts, computes and displays them in varying brightness, and from your location. Snoop - Small useful utility that shows system information, such as waiting and running tasks, open screens and windows. CCD - A CD utility, allows the user to change directory, without having to specify the whole path. WandaFish - Workbench hack, very fishy. Stop - Very useful program that will allow you to remove any program that has locked or cannot be stopped by normal means. TrigMaster - Very easy to use trig program, based on an old Hewlett Packard calculator. LAZi - A CanDo archive utility interface, compatible with Arc, Zoo and Lharc. ------ PDQ 12 ------ Snap - Ever need to cut and paste with ED, using the mouse ? Well now you can and in many other programs, just by using Snap. Agraph - A graph utility, draws bar, line, area and pie charts. Load and save data, save IFF file (8 colour medium res) Hex - Is is a file based binary file editor. Llamatron - Classic arcade game by Jeff Minter. Pixxt - A graphical demo, that follows the mouse around the screen. IconEditor - V2.0 of this full feature icon editor, too good to miss. Talker - A replacement for the Amiga speech synthesis, with the Authors own voice. Apref - Cli command that displays information on the system performance. ------ PDQ 13 ------ BootGen - With BootGen you are able to install a Bootmenu to a disk. VirusChecker - Version 5.33 of this great virus checker, by John Veldthuis. Xripper - V1.1 of this sound ripper. Ttutor - Two typing Tutors, both very good and well documented. DW - DirWork V1.43, A very easy to use and customize, program that gets you around the Shell. EasyColor - A colour palette tool, that you can include in your own programs. Will work on almost any screen, with 2 to 32 colours. Also on EHB and HAM screens. SubAtack - Shoot the ships with one of your torpedoes, but both are moving ! DiskMagic - Displays the amount of free space, each time you insert a floppy disk. Will also tell you if it is write-protected. FracBlank - A screen blanker, to be used by WB 2.0. When in operation it will generate real fractals. ScreenMod - Small,utility program that changes the position of a custom screen, opened by another program. CustomHelp - Create your own help screen, that are called up by hot keys. Up&Down - Small game, place 4 chips in a row to win. Play with a friend or againts the computer. Addresser - A name and address filler, the electronic equivalent to the card file system. Supports printing, dialing, and mailmerge facilities. DisDF - Stops the click of empty drives, by disabling the floppy drive tasks. SD2 - SuperDuper II, latest version of this excellent copier, very fast and reliable. ------ PDQ 14 ------ RingWar - A classic arcade game of reflexes. Penetrate through the rings, to destroy the ship inside. CPUSet - Enable or disable the instruction and or data caches on the 68040 processor. Degrader - Degrade your new system so that some of your old programs may well still work. Many options. Convert - A conversion program, convert length, area, volume, capacity, weight and temperature. Very easy and useful. PrinterTimeout - Alter the length of your printers time out. Very useful if you have a slow, or very fast printer. HexTrix - In the vein of tetris, with six sided pieces. Quite hard ! PointerX - Animates the hands of a WB2.0 pointer. Textra - A very user-friendly text editor, full cut and paste as well as printing. Lode - MotherLode, based on an old game of similar name, collect the chests on each level, then make your way to the top of the screen. Defender - Classic arcade game, save the people and destroy the ships. two player mode on a split screen. ShortCut - Add a menu to the workbench bar, that contain the names of program that you access frequently. MultiDos - A New Cross-Dos/MSH like program. It will allow you to read MS-Dos disks with a standard 3 1/2 Amiga drive. You can read MS-Dos and Amiga Dos disks from the same drive ! AmigaToNTSC - For users of the Fatter Agnus and WB 2.0, lets you easily change the screen from PAL to NTSC. Dinfo_2.0_Only - Display information about any Amiga storage media, including disks, hard disks and memory. CrossFade - Fade between two ILBM files, in four colour. The effect is like that used in professional video equipment. NewZAP - Multi-purpose file sector editing utility, very well known and used. Version 3.3 MKSLens - Yet another Lense program. Magnify an area of the screen to see more detail. ------ PDQ 15 ------ Colors - The objet is to line up four blocks or more of the same colour, as the pieces fall down Tetris style. Each play you have a different goal to achieve. Frantic - FrabticFreddie is a nice easy platform style arcade game, very enjoyable and good sound. MakeIcon - A CLI utility to generate a default icon for a file. Very conventient to use. Free - To display the amount of free space of a floppy disk. Menufy_Iconify - Two utils. with Iconify you can hide windows on the Workbench screen and Menufy to temporarily hide windows on the Workbench Tools menu. WallP - Load upto 16 colour pictures on your WB2.0 backdrop. Much nicer than the patterns supplied by Commodore. BlackHole - The Super Trashcan for Wb2.04 or later. Drag files into the Blackhole and a requester will ask if you really want to delete the items. 2.04_Hacks - A few commands that did not make it into 2.04. DelKey_2.04 - Add a menu shortcut key combination to the "Delete" item under WB2.04. Prism - An ANSI graphics animator for the Amiga. It does not make high resolution graphics, it makes those neat animated screens that you see over the modem.V 1.4 SuperDuper - The most reliable and fastest disk copier and formatter that you can find in public domain for the Amiga. WizzardFiler - Public Domain file requester, you may use it in all of your programs -commercial or not. EnvPrint - Hand tool for printing envelopes. Allows from and to address, comments and a mini built in address book. ------ PDQ 16 ------ ReqTools - A standard Amiga shared, runtime library. Purpose is to make it a lot quicker and easier to use than the built in ones. Used by many PD/Shareware programs. PPShow21 - PowerPacker show, a utility for PowerPacker, to display IFF/ILBM files that have been crunched. NumbersUp - A simple but addictive game, where numbers fly past the bottom of your screen and you have to shoot them upto the top to score. FastCat - Lastest version of this super mini-network, ideal for the linking of two amiga's for the purpose of printer sharing much cheaper than a switch box. File requester for the copying of files between the two machines. SuperLeague - A super football management simulation game, where you have to get your club to the top of the league. MouseAccel - A WB2.0 commodity to speed up those mouse movements, faster than the one supplied by Commodore. Spliner - A screen blanker routine for use under WB2.0. The code has been extracted from Tom Rokicki's Mackie -one of the most well known and beautiful utilities for the Amiga. Blankette - Very tiny screen blanker that simply dims the screen. ScudBuster - Play missiles against the computer, you are armed with 3 scuds and a SAM, registered versions can play over a modem. MemCheck - A simple way of checking all your amiga vectors for any type of unknown virus. WhizoII - Screen Blanker, Mouse accelerator, borderless CLI and 20 function key aliases - all in a Bootblock. IconSwap - Small utility which allows you to swap easily and fast the colours of your icons between 1.3 and 2.0. FontViewer - Displays all your fonts, including colour and WB2.0 outline fonts. Various screen modes. InTime_DTV - Intime is a program to overlay a 'timecode' onto video- tape. Not intended to be super accurate. PublicService - A clock that keeps a track on your working day, tells you start, end and break times. ------ PDQ 17 ------ PP - PowerPacker Patcher, allows programs to use PowerPacked files, totally transparent to the system. AutoCLI - Like PopCLI, but much better, includes mouse accelerator screen blanker, mouse blanking and lot more. MultiKickStart - Multi Kick start board project, circuit diagram and pictures on how to build a ROM swaper. Spades_2.04Only- Card game of Spades, works only under WB2.04. Contact - A names and address database that pops up, features include dialing, label printing, automatic sorting and sharing data via the clipboard. MSIP - Based on Xoper, this snoop utility will only run under WB2.0 and a 68020 or higher. CPUSet - Enable or disable the instruction and data cache on 68040, 68030 and 68020 processors. Star - A C tutorial on drawing stars by Jason Lowe. MagicFileReq - A file requester for WB 2.0, acts as a Commodity and is use by all standard programs, take full advantage of WB2.0, very fast and looks good. MathsAdventure - A simple game where the young adventurer mast pass through rooms to reach his goal. Along the way he must answer questions to pass into the next room. Educational. FastDisk - At last a WB2.0 disk optimizing program. Very fast and here at GTS has found to be quicker and more reliable than commercial optimizers. Also supports Hard drives but not on a one to one basis yet. Poing - Breakout, probably the best PD version yet, many options good game play, multitasking, breakthrough to higher levels. ------ PDQ 18 ------ PDCentipede - Based on the original arcade game, very popular in the 80s. HoiDemo - Demo version of a soon to be released game. PalInsert - Places the PAL enable instruction into any bootblock, standard or not. Stops the annoying NTSC boot bug. IE - Icon Editor, is a shareware program which allows the creation and editing of Icons. Demo but fully functional. PharoahsCurse - A conversion from the original C64 game, the object of the game is to collect the treasure. MemMan - An OS2 style memory handling program, you can allocate and deallocate chip and/or fast ram. Rosette - Create rose windows like in cathedrals, very colourful. NewPrint - A program that sends text files to your printer. NewPrint has ability to format the text to suit you and your printers needs. TrueEd - Another True Editor, with WB2.0 look and feel. Arexx port. VirusZ - Version 2.12 of this very good virus killer. Memory, file and bootblock checking. Worth a look ! Soft - A painting package to mimic the use of charcoal, pen-and-ink or watercolour. Slicer - A program for creating abstract art based on mathematical functions, such as the Mandelbrot set, Julia sets and fixed or floating point arithmetic. ------ PDQ 19 ------ WBFontEd - WB 2.0 Font Editor, designed only for the editing of bit mapped fonts. Comprehensive drawing tools. ToolsDeamon - Run programs simply by selecting a menu from the toolsmenu of Workbench 2.0. PCTask - Probably the best PC emulator in software, for the Amiga requires MS DOS. Disabled demo. Grondo - Gypsy Rondo, a nice tune ready to run using MED. Celest - Celestrial Caesars, role playing game where you must explore the galaxy, conquer other worlds, rebuild the Empire, and secure your monopoly on star-maps and charts. Dsound - Play 8SVX sound samples directly off a hard drive, takes a very small amount of chip RAM and can play samples of unlimited size. FireFighter - A good game with educational value, extinguish fires and rescue victims, but most of all stay alive ! optional two player mode. Adventure - The most historial authentic version of the very first Adventure game. Written by Donald Woods and Will Crowther. WaspA - A conversion program, converts GIF or IFF (most types) into IFF files. Very fast and good output quality. Supports HAM, sliced HAM, dynamic HAM and dynamic hires. NoDelete - Checks to see if you *really*really*really* want to delete something. Version 2.01. NiceScreen - Traps all calls to OpenScreen() and check to see if a screen larger than 216 pixels high was requested, if so it is rerouted to OpenScreenTagList() and sets the PAL bit. PPdata - Another Powerpacker utility, lets you crunch and de-crunch DATA files. Much faster than Powerpacker < 2.3. For use only under WB 2.0. ------ PDQ 20 ------ CBridge - Demo version of Contract Bridge, plays for 15 minutes before resetting. ECopy100 - A program to copy files from mass storage devices onto floppy disks, so that it takes the minimum number of disks. GearInches - Designed to calculate and display to screen or printer the gears of your bicycle with 1 to 24 gear combinations. WizardClock - Another ultimate calendar clock for your workbench. ARQ - Animated file requester, replace the standard system requester with a more intelligent version. NewZap - A Multi-purpose file sector editing utility. TacTixgame - Force your oppontent to take the last piece for you to win, very enjoyable. SplineDance - A visually mesmerizing toy, features a pair of polygons which bounce off the borders of the window as they leave multicoloured trails. CastIcon - Change Icon Type, from the Workbench or CLI. Flip - Flip is a solitaire game in the Reversi family. ViewIcon - A utility to view Icon files from the Shell. Fade - Produce a copper background faded from one to another colour. ShellTools - For each - To perform a script loop using local variable to contain loop values. History - used to control the 2.04 console handler history feature, review load, save, clear and change the buffer. Pipe - Like the run command with differences. Recorder - capture the input or output of a particular shell and save it as a file. IFFLib - The universal IFF library for the Amiga. As used by many programs, PD and commercial. P-Writer - Is designed for the production of illustrated texts for display by P-Reader. EasyAccess - Improve access to Amiga program and Data files, through the execution of script files and commands. Count - Count simply counts whole numbers going up or down until the desired number of terms has been counted. *** END
